The Time Has Come - Legal, Straightforward 70-Series Imports to the USA

If you're bringing in full vehicles will they come with all the bonded paperwork to make them legal in the US? Also are you informing CA residents that they cannot have them even if they are diesel? I'm not dogging you but I've seen a ton of illegal imports get seized and people lose a lot of money.
Hey thanks for the post. All of our imports are fully compliant and legal. The cars will have already been removed from bond and duty paid before we hand them over to customers. We are even directly in touch with the CBP's Commercial Targeting and Analysis Center (CTAC) so that they know what we are doing and can green light our cars. For specific state-by-state requirements; that's a great question. We are asking that the customer be completely informed before entering into a purchase decision, including by verifying specific in-state requirements.
We hope to hear more from you soon.

Hey, great question and thanks for posting. We have access to a lot of vehicles that are less than 25 years old, so if we get specific requests from Canada we can absolutely work on those. Let us know if there is something specific that you have in mind.

A buddy has RHD BJ74, and although I could probably get used to driving a RHD vehicle, I would obviously prefer a LHD one. There are a couple of us that have talked about doing the same thing your doing just so that we could get our hands on a troopy or 70 series wagon. My buddy says the 70 series are the best mix of HD features the Land Cruisers are world renowned for and the creature comforts we've come accustomed to here in NA. However, until I have some funds, I'm just dreaming for now.

Well since 2015 will be the first year for all 1HZ/H55F/split case setups to be legal in the US, I assume business will be brisk if you can bring these iterations in good copy into the U.S.

Parts support is very good.

But these trucks will have lived a hard life in Africa as opposed to say Japan.

Will this be disclosed?

After 25 years in Africa those things will be, shall we say, "seasoned".......

Exciting times at LCNW! We're moving our first 70-series vehicles to the USA now. Here is a sneak peek at one of our first units. This is a totally unique troop carrier with low kilometers and a specially lifted high top rear cabin. We're calling her "Lelik"; come and see her on our Facebook page. Unlike most of the vehicles we're importing she is RHD, and we are really excited to have her. 4.0D, 5MT. Please let us know if you are interested and tell us more about what you want to see at LCNW!

Thanks for the question! Yes, all information available about our vehicles will definitely be disclosed. It is in everyone's best interest that they end up with a vehicle they want and are happy with. We can even source a vehicle to specification if that interests you. Also, while some of these vehicles are heavily used, some are not, and few of them have seen rust.

I'll take a solid LHD 75 body and interior.
Hello
We have a 13-seat troop carrier, LHD and in excellent mechanical condition, model year 1976. It lived in Europe so has some body rust. Please let us know if you would be interested and we can exchange more information.

Delancy: solid LHD 75 (series) body
Hello: 1976, some body rust
