Only one triangle reflector and -- oh my! -- that tailgate. :pig::rolleyes:

I think the triangles are available again as repros. Mine were crusty, but cleaned up well.

Depending on where your tires scale out to, it is possible to extend the drop-leg and strengthen it. Get a piece of bar stock as close as you can get to match the drop-leg. Where the leg is overlapped and bolted, unbolt. Set the now loose bottom piece so that the upper part sets on top of it. Take the bare stock and cut a piece big enough the go completely up the height of the leg, then drill 4 holes in it, get 2 extra bolts, nuts, washers and bolt together the longer, reinforced leg. It comes out just about right if you're running 33s, I'm guessing maybe a little low with 35s?

That tailgate is ugly, looks like virtually no reinforcement at the back corners, which will cause the side to wobble and take a crazy beating on the trail. It's much easier to reinforce if you have nice square corners. Maybe what you have can be saved with some work, but might be worth considering a donor tailgate or fab to fit once you have a nice robust opening to fill. Another thing I've seen done, espcially where a RTT was in the picture, is to have a top bar across the top of the opening, tying both rear corners together. If the tent will be on top blocking over the top of the bed, the tie bar won't interfere with reaching through the tailgate.

Anyway, you've probably got some ideas where this is going, but just wanted to throw out some suggestions from what I've learned with my own build and watching others with the M101 CDN.

Hello All,

It is a tough decision but this trailer is going up for sale. I live in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada and would love to see this go to an overlander. We are moving to a camping trailer so this on has to go. Sales info will follow. Please post if there is any interest.

Thx,
