Well its been 13 months since I drove the RED monster on the road.
Its been a tale of woe.
1. I went to renew the rego on 24FEB last year and was told cannot your vehicle is blacklisted.
2. FOUND out what that was a letter to take RED to road trransport for an INSPECTION after a complaint was made so it was fined in COURT and BLAKCLISTED from being registered. (AUGUST 2009

3. I never knew about this as RED is registered in a friends name and he claimed to have never received the registered letter
4. So I gave it to a runner to sort it all out at road transport - 6 months later of many lies etc I knew something was up.
5. recently the runner asked for $5000 to complete the unblackllisting after already providing him $2300.
6. I never gave him the loot $5000 and he started ignoring all calls and SMS's on the status of RED.
6a. i got a report my "NICE" neighbour went round some of the other houses in the street showing them the REPORT he was making against my trucks to road transport - he reported two on the same day for "ILLEGAL MODIFICATIONS" driving without a license and anything else he could make up. It worked .
6B while RED was stored at the runners house it got broken into and the stereo stolen and the VHF radio and all the APEXI gauges some $5000 worth
. since the runner stored it there under the instruction of the workshop I made them replace the missing kit.
7. The runner go sacked from the workshop he was at missing money etc
whereabouts of the runner now unknown.
8. Feb 2011 I got I got grumpy and went to the police station and report the runner running away with my rego papers etc. Man that got a reaction (and being a foreigner here was just the catalyst) the police straight away on the phone found out where the runner used to work and went round to the workshop and wanted to know where the runner was - the workshop reacted by NEVER wanting the police there again got hold of the runner and got the papers delivered back in 2 days
9. A new runner has the papers now and informed me - oops - BLACKLIST to clear RED of it so it can be reregistered $1500
engine conversion from 2.4 petrol to 13B-T - damn $2500 and other fees total is over $5000
11. TO get my neighbour back I reported his sons BMW to road transport (man has he been quiet since as they would have charged him a fee to pass the inspection as it was a BEEMER and the son is a DOCTOR hahahahaha).
12. I have to go to road transport with the runner wednesday and explain to road transport the whole story to try and get a discount on the blacklist fee. Its cost me $$$$$$$$$$$ loss of income from the business and the damage to GREEN while I bashed that in the jungle is unbelieveable
12. Currently RED is now back at the workshop being prepared for the inevitable inspection and all fluids etc being replaced and getting it running again. new batteries, new sneakers, new shocks, no change out of $5000+
13. I hope to have red BACK ON THE road by the end of the month I have to its booked by tourists for a 4x4 trip. ANyway I really miss driving that beautiful 21PSI boosted 13B-T and it spinning the 35" sneakers in 3rd effortlessy on wet roads
and its missing towing all its LANDY and HEEP friends around the jungle too.
14. then it has a little job - it might just have to reverse over the "NICE" neighbours car or maybe I will let the VOLVO do it its much heavier and nastier and just say SORRY and wear the $300rm fine I will get.
Then I can tell the whole story at a TT or around a camp fire (damn where is wild bill to lite one) in the jungle.
