The olive garden banner ad

So a couple of days ago, whenever the 'olive garden' web banner ad appeared on the page, no matter where you clicked you ended up at Olive Garden's web site. The last two days, if the olive garden ad shows up, the page never finishes loading. Anyone else seeing this? I was thinking there wouldn't be ads since I became a 'silver star' but still getting the 'AdChoice' banner ads. ughh

Of course, the link would have probably taken you to the olive garden anyways...

Use Ghostery. It's free. Google it and set it up. Blocks a large portion of it for me.

I'm happy to support the site, but honestly I'm disappointed that after contributing I still have intrusive ads.

Thanks for moving...I get alerts for threads in here, otherwise I often miss them.

I'll see what i can do to chase down the ad...do you have a screen shot I can work with? I've not noted it personally or it would have already been taken care of.

Unfortunately, there are always a few that sneak through. Unavoidable headache.

I've included a screenshot. I checked from a couple of different PC's to see if maybe my PC was infected with some kind of adware, but I see the top mounted banner ads throughout the site. They seem to be google based because they rotate based on things I've been searching on. Not sure how Olive Garden got in the rotation, but it seems to have dropped off now. I have a habit of randomly searching for random stuff I'm not interested in just to throw google for a loop, maybe I was searching for olive and anchovies pizza or something.

Thanks for the screen shot, but I knew where the banner is located None of the ad slots are filtered from my Admin account. I was hoping to catch the actual ad to make it easier to chase down.

I made a major tweak to the ad setup for the Silver/Gold members early yesterday morning (like, 4:30a), which is why that ad is no longer an issue. It obviously immediately solved your issue, and I'll keep adjusting/monitoring over the next few days.
