Just had our 1000Km service done[LC200-V8, V6] and the first thing on the list was to hit the sands.. this weekend. Beautiful weather - consolidated sand with recent rains..and it was terrific ride..

The team deflates...2 new LC200, with LC70, LC120 and Nissan Patrol. I deflated to 15psi.

FIRST EVER SLIPFACE

Got myself stuck in the sand soup at the top of the slipface. Too much throttle ! Got a push finally..

The diff lock indications in the dash..worked like a charm..

You guys should really think about mounting flags when on dunes. BTW, nice 200, envious to see the factory rear locker and rear tire carrier.

None failed .. But we were doing crazy stuff .. testing our LC's. It was fun. Flags... Hmmm.. I guess we don't want to be seen in RAK

We went for a weekend camping in RAK and it was a lovely drive with perfect weather.. Its so peaceful to watch the sun rise in the desert... serious competitor to LC200 was the agile LC70..

went for the weekend drive in mini RAK and the kids had a blast under the cloudy weather. nothing special apart from the first thing we noticed was a badly stuck LC100 - trying to go up the slipface... crazy kids..they were stuck for 2hrs. the sand was too soft but we managed to pull them out...

We spent our long-weekend doing an epic 900Km offroad leg in RAK. the big red dunes and the soapy sands were a great challenge. 3 night camper, we crossed the RAK from east to west and it was a virgin trip for my LC200 and saillaw's LC76-1hz. I had to pack an additional 140L and the first thing I'm ordering now, is the ARB long range fuel tank - on a side note - i am really impressed with my stock LC200 performance - the diffs, the ride, the handling was really sweet. I ran around 13psi front and 14psi rear and it was like sailing on sand ! few pics :

Got myself hi-centered at a soapy sand top and saillaw came for rescue. the other two vehicles btw Armada and LC71 are also stuck ! - had a blast there. good thing about the front camera - i dont have to get out now everytime to see ahead at the slip faces and slopes !

Nice is all I can say. The only dunes I have seen that look anything similar to the Liwa Dunes in the UAE.
