No sound difference until I floor it...then theres a slight "blowing" noise haha. No smells in the cab in the back when I let it sit idle, so that whats all I cared about. And I go to school up in Alabama, there's not many rocks but I managed to find one of the few! Just an excuse to swap in something with a little better tone

Let us know what you end up replacing it with.

Big cypress national park, south Florida. Attempted to go to bear island but got cut off by a "controlled burn". Alligator cameo taken on the first loop road off of tamiami trail. Lots of gators.

Me and some friends took an all day trip around western North Carolina today. We hit Cataloochee Valley and then over to Hurricane Creek Trail. We ran into some guys in our local Overland Club and we barely missed a local Jeep club run on the same trail, they had over 100 Jeeps on this narrow trail. At least we were in our Cruisers and 4Runners in case the Jeeps got stuck ;) Man am I grateful to live less than 20 miles from this area.

There were 3 cruisers in the parking lot at Keystone (ski area) today (that I saw) - seems to be popular with the ski crowd as well (that is, except for all the Subies here in CO). Here we are representin' ...

Wow, I guess you learn something new every day. Never heard of a Limited Edition LX.

So it looks like those came with the badges on the doors, chrome door handles, blackwood trim in the cabin, Limited Edition black carpet mats, and what appears like a lighter silver finish on the 18" wheels (as opposed to the darker gunmetal type finish on the regular models).

Did I miss anything?

A week ago, but had a beach day.

@Kabanstva You got it!! All cosmetic - it was originally a $400 option from Lexus and apparently they only made a run of 400 of them. Toy/Lex are known to do the "Limited Edition" thing on the last year of a particular model run. There's also a chrome accent line that runs along the bottom of the window weatherstripping. I've never been a huge fan of Lexus interior wood, so I like the look of the black interior. The chrome door handles are growing on me ;) ... at least it makes the truck a little different from everyone else. Unless there is someone lurking - I haven't seen any other fellow Mudders "un"Mallcruising their limited editions. It's been mentioned a few times in older posts, but I haven't seen any :)

I'd be more than happy to. It's a long way off but late Sept and early Oct is a great time to do this ride. The bull elk in Cataloochee are full of themselves around that time of year.
