Just out curiosity, if Dhozkhar (sp?) Tsarnaev is convicted, will you accept his guilt? Better yet, is McVeigh actually guilty since a jury of his peers convicted him or was that a vast conspiracy as well?

No one here is arguing against due process or a fair trial, what grinds me are the comments that Dorner is innocent of all he did and the brothers didn't bomb Boston. When people turn a gun on themselves or are killed while shooting at police then they chose to forfeit their right to trial. If they were so convinced of their innocence then they should have walked into the nearest police station and turned themselves in?

As far as Andy Griffith goes, best episode by far is when Aunt Bea makes the pickles and Barney, Andy, and Opey have to act they like them. Now that's good TV. And Andy believed in due process, he always gave the town drunk, Otis, a fair shake. There's hope after all...

Eric, that "naieve generation" might be solely responsible for our current situation, and andy griffith may have appeared in a pro obama commercial later in life, those things are not relevant.

I posted the clip because of the lessons Andy was teaching 1) you cant break the law even against a criminal 2) everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
I had no idea that supporting due process was going to turn into this and lead to people comparing an accused murderer of 4 people to a fascist dictator that started a war that claimed 60 million lives.

No all everyone is trying to do is get you to realize that there is no difference between a person who murders 1 or 100 people. A murder is a murder the number makes no difference and I think you are taking the whole trial and innocent until proven guilty a little to literal. The innocent until proven guilty is not there for the people who have basically been filmed by the news committing their crimes. Just because you claim not guilty doesn't make it true. Oh yeah, criminals don't have rights you do what has to be done to catch them. That even comes down to if you want to listen to my phone calls go ahead. They better have a big cup of coffee cause they're going to get sleepy. I'm a pretty boring person when comes to home land security issues. You know there are bigger and more important issues with the government than how they treat or mistreat (in your way of thinking) criminals.

While this a fair point, what if mermaids conspired with unicorns to frame him with the help of the CIA? Or what if he commits suicide or is shot by the animal patrol? Is he guilty still or innocent?
