Just curious if any of you have been following this......entertaining

Yes, very interesting! I'm not high on the BMW engine. I have an X5 and it's $$$$ to do anything to the engine.

Yep, it's the 3.0 single turbo I6 that's in just about every BMW (in one variation or another), and I think the Supra. Looks like there will also be a single turbo I6 BMW diesel option.

Ah, so something to avoid?
No, it's a been a good motor for the most part. Great power and torque. I guess I just don't think of long term reliability when I hear BMW.

I had a problem with the injectors around 30k miles. Luckily it was under warranty because it would have been over 3K to fix. I'm at 55k now and the problem seems to be coming back. I haven't taken it in yet, but I'm sure it's going to be an arm and a leg to fix.

Well it sounds much better than the Defender.......I read price will be $75K - 120K USD....ordering will begin Oct 21' for late 2022/early 2022 shipping

Aralit I just watched your video....Ha!....".I believe that people who drive BMW's (mosts of them) are Dicks!" Ha! he is angry old guy but funny.

He is haha. My wife insisted we get our X5. I make it a point to use my turn signals and not be a dick every time I drive it because he's spot on.

My Dad used to tell me, "Don't buy a British car unless you can buy the mechanic to go with!" and, "The Brit's will take one component that may only need 1 gasket, and "engineer" it to be 6 parts, each needing it's own gasket to build the same component!"
