Well, maybe not here in AZ YET... But in Oregon it appears they might be trying something soon... I could see CRAP like this happening in California as well... Once one of the "Crazy" states starts something like this, the next one has to "out do" it and make theirs more strict making it better of course... :worms:

Read below for further if you dare... Could be good for us any way bringing more parts or vehicles to market etc... :steer:

Money grab...stupid

More importantly, I would love to hear the story on how that boulder smashed that Torino in the cover story pic...?

Welp, that's terrible.

In other news...I discovered an awesome 80 series with an AVID--great looking 80

. Anyone know the owner of this beast? Was in East Mesa. Very cool rig. Don't mind the squirrel, he was just hanging out in Strawberry, AZ.

More of our s*** Gov's greed.......................Trying to take a man's guns or getting greedy over a man's rides is just asking for it!!!!!!!!!!!

I think there is very little chance of that happing in AZ due to the major auction house here - Barrett Jackson, Mecum, etc.. Major bucks being spent and deep pockets to make sure the local legislature has the right agendas in mind. Oregon? :meh:

Scary thing about this is they "could" make it adopt a similar policy here if WE DO NOT PAY ATTENTION... The article eludes to their tax not applying to a vehicle licensed as an "Antique" Classified vehicle. It could be a vehicle you could own but are ONLY able to drive X-miles per year etc. They could require more inspections of these Antique Licensed vehicle's trying to get them off the road...

Just thinking out loud here of course... But having worked in government for over 27 years now..... Nothing would surprise me!!!:bang:

"it's a dangerous president".

That would be pretty effin stupid. If they wanted to pull that s***, they need to go a lot farther back than just 20yrs. My first car was nearly 15yrs old when I bought it. How many young people out there are scratching together some coin to buy that 91 Corolla or 96 Camry then they find out they either can't drive it or pay an extra 200/yr. Thats a big deal when you're on a tight budget.

Can't disagree, but the other side to the coin is that such a law would likely cause the value of such cars to plummet, so they would be cheaper to acquire and more expensive to keep. In the end, what is really the point, especially in a place where cars last forever?

The point is trying to get more money from you.
