I would have to say that the drive down to Montgomery Alabama was rather pleasant. I did it all in one shot and I was really happy with the way the 100 series performed. That supercharger makes a HUGE difference when you need to motor around something. The truck averaged, 15 mpg on the first tank, 15.5 on the 2nd and then I hit 17 on the last tank. I am not sure how I got 17 on the last tank because I was moving with a purpose - if you know what I mean. This truck drives much different than the 80. It's super smooth.

I thought I had a piston slap issue with this truck, but as it turns out, it is an exhaust leak and the dealership was nice enough to quote me 8.1 hours of labor plus $280 for the part. If there is one thing I hate, it's an exhaust leak and this issue must be addressed. I will have to take a look at this weekend and see if it can be welded. The guys on the 100 forum say that it can be welded if you have the right guy welding.

I still need to sell the 80 and I think my niece wants to buy it, I hope that she does, because that means I can keep that rig in the family and when she is done with it I can buy it back, that is, if it is still in one piece.

At some point I will have to tell my wife that I scored a new truck

Hey, when do you want to sell that 100? Just kidding!

Glad you're happy with it!

I always get better mileage in Alabama (and other southern States). I think it's the lack of fuel additives (winter blend) and flat landscape. Sounds like the 100 performed good for you. Do you have an exo cage on it yet?

Not sure what the EXO cage is, but if its cool I always could throw one on. I removed the running boards today and I was trying to get this cattle guard rear bumper guard thing off and I got 3 of 4 bolts off. I impacted the crap out of the last one, hit with the PB and still could not get it off. I need to get the torch and heat the hell out of it.

I have exhaust issues I need to take care of, a rattling cat and a possible leaking manifold. The rear tailgate carpet is trashed and there is a trim plastic trim piece that is beat up pretty good. I am not sure about the mods yet, the sahara bar does not look like it will give me enough protect against PA whitetail and the bull bar may be a little to big. I am leaning towards to the bull bar.

I think that's about it.

GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, I don't think we're going to install the exo-skeleton on the ol' 100 series.

C'mon, where's your sense of adventure?

I wish it was mine. Nice little 80 with 40's. I'm good Dan-O. I miss the southern boys, can't wait till it gets warm enough for you to come up to Rausch. How you been?

I have to wash the rig before I put up the picture, red Alabama mud on white truck isn't very appealing.

Cam, can you guys install an exhaust manifold on the drivers side for less than $1000.00?
The part for CDan is $220 and I am getting quoted 8 hours for the labor, most people say it takes 4 if you know what you are doing. Any ideas?
