I have my first Pig.

Back at Christmas I was sending messages to friends and checking in on people to see how they were doing. One of those people was @USMC22
We started talking about projects and such and what we had going, and somehow from that conversation Jerry asked me if I wanted his Pig. We reached an agreement on it and yesterday we followed through.

I brought Jerry one of my diesel Benz's and some cash and left with the Pig.

Jerry bought this Pig several years ago out of Paris Arkansas from the owner of a Pawn Shop. That guy got it from someone who needed cash to get someone else out of jail.

Jerry has already done most of the work and laid the footwork for me. It has @bobm Rockers and Floorpans, OME suspension, and most if not all of the parts to make it complete.

It's a '68, first year. My plan is to put in a 2F, Late H42 and 3:70s for now, and just drive the snot out of it. Eventually I'll put an H55F in it but that'll be far down the road.

Wow, a '69?

Good work!!
Cruiser pulling a cruiser is good feeling!!
Good luck!!

No it wasn't. It was long, ca. 275 mile, drive back at 50-55, sometimes 45. Time for a real tow rig.

@cruiserinsanity Congrats!! I have an album of 127 pictures I took of the whole rust removal and floor replacement on that dirty pig. Glad to see it getting some more love!

I cleaned out the pig today and got an idea of what all parts are in it. I was planning on swapping out the right rear door window that got broken out by a lawnmower, however I found I have all the glass except rear door glass. I have three front door windows, both cargo windows but no rear door windows. They’re probably still in the parts stash I have to go back and get.

I bagged up the door for now to keep the rain out. I need to go get all the parts for this thing in Mississippi and Arkansas, and track down either a pickup front axle for disc brake parts or rip apart a 60 axle my dad has.

I have an original rear bumper you can have if you decide to go back to OEM. It's missing one of the ends but otherwise fine. Of course you have a decent matching set on there so you might want to just keep those.
