Well...

In my quest to design and build another trailer (this time I'm really looking hard at fiberglass, (or a fiberglass shell) I happened to run into this while searching....and what a pleasant surprise!

It's our very own SChaney...from Compact Camping Concepts....he has designed a fiberglass modular trailer system, that's expandable. It has tons of possibilities from super light to heavy duty. Not exactly what I was looking for, but for the guys looking for another answer to M-416 /M100/CND101 size....this looks like a sweet idea. Good thinking Scott!

I've dealt with Scott in the past, and he's a real gentleman to work with. I sure hope this works out for him!! So here it is...the new DINOOT

Congratz Scott and good thinking (now I just need you to make an enclosed pod....;) ) Good Luck!

p.s....a picture is worth a 1000 words...or at least some excessive hot air...

Pat, thanks for sharing about my latest project and the kind words.

Enigma, thanks for the input, this should be on easy to do. Could make a version of the end panels that would make a 4' wide trailer box. This could be easy lifted on & off a 4' wide trailer. What width of trailer box where you thinking?

Rezarf, Thanks, the pictured MOAB is a "real" trailer tent :D I'm all about "having it your way", with a trailer tub like this you can just as easily mount a roof top tent on it if you prefer  For those that prefer sleeping in the dirt, forgo the tent, do a rack and basket instead for your spare, extra gear, kayaks / canoe, bikes, etc.

I just mean don't photoshop a pic of a RTT, actually mount one for folks to see. It looks hoakie on an otherwise VERY well designed trailer. Do your product justice... it deserves it! :D

for purely selfish reasons, an M101 CDN.

now THAT is about as cool as it gets!!

Go Dinoot!!

man, if it were me I could not help but hang for dear life with *both* hands... :)

you've got quite a long tongue there...

Yes it is, Thanks!

When I asked him about talking the picture, he had a strong grip on the rack and was very surprised when he saw the picture and realize he was out on the undercut. The long tongue is setup for canoes or kayaks if I remember right. Notice how the racks extended up talerl than the tent unit for them to sit on.

I spent three days with the Dinoot and it's owner Sean. I was impressed at it's capability and simplicity. It did flop it once on the Kokopelli (no shocks IIRC) and three-four guys easily re-righted it. ZERO DAMAGE. I think a slightly wider track and some minor suspension tweaks will cure everything. Couldn't dream of doing that with the Adrenalin.

Sean, It was fun spotting you out to the edge on top-of-the world
