The definition of Win-Win

Just picked up a 2011 GX460 Premium with 25,000 mi. Woohoo! So for months I've been bugging my wife that I need an FJ80 to build up as a trail/camping rig. She didn't love getting a third vehicle just as my toy. Damned practicality.

I suggested that perhaps we could get a newer SUV to replace her aging KIA Sorento. She was skeptical... Found this GX, took her for a ride and she was hooked. Now she has a luxo-kid hauler and I have my (light) trail rig that I'll slowly and stealthily build up. Win-win.

Haha it's funny, because it's going to happen in a couple months. I'd do it this weekend if the tires weren't in such good shape. Took the family camping this weekend and they loved it so now I'm looking for a roof rack so we can haul more stuff.

Received my Yakima roof rack the other day but my back was jacked up so I couldn't install until today. I was a bit worried about how the rack grabbed the rails but I can hold one and shake the entire vehicle without it budging. Very solid.
