Liza - PM'd you.

Dos anyone know Martin's email? I don't think he's on here.

There was not any wheeling, but spent a long birthday weekend with my 2 year old boy on Spruce Head Island, Maine at my grandfathers house. Slept all nights in the 80. This was the view we had. Not bad for free.

LMFT on Saturday if anyone is interested.

NEA has no runs scheduled for this date.... Not that any of you seem to give a fxxx.

Pretty sure that when the LMFT website is running there is nothing there that says you have to be an NEA member club to get one of the 4x4 trail passes.

You are 100% correct Lane... They don't.

The NEA only asks that any NEA club wishing to make a run at that property reserve it through the NEA so the property isn't over run by NEA clubs.

Did I say NEA enough?

They just try to regulate it internally and be proactive so it doesn't become an issue as it has been in years past.

I am in direct contact with LMFT and if you would like I can have someone from their board contact you directly and explain how they want no more than 20 vehicles a day to access the property.

The issue however is how LMFT can regulate that.

There isn't any NEA club running the property Saturday so I don't see a run being an issue.

I just would rather not show up at a NEA meeting to get called out as a club president who hasn't followed their protocol and also just so happens to be the liaison to LMFT.

With you being a NEA Rep. for a number of years... I'm hoping that you can understand my position.

I understand your position.
But I also see that LMFT is a very badly run
group. Need a 4x4 pass? Maybe the website will be up,
and if it is it's almost impossible to find where they hide
the link for the passes.
I'm sure Swanzey will be shut down in the not to distant future.
I see the locals drive by my house every weekend and I bet they
haven't bothered to get a pass.

Just playing Devils advocate!

Understood.
I agree with you on the LMFT site being poorly maintained and the demise of Swanzey.

In the meantime I'm just doing what I can to try to keep those trails open.

I paid the dues to join LMFT last month. I'll have my pass and will be on a legal non-sanctioned NEA run scheduled for Saturday if anyone wants to join us. Bring your cameras and watch me roll again.

Nothing against NEA on my part, I've been encouraging people to join an NEA club over on the ENH website this month.

Ok, I walked that when they first cut it and thought it might be a fun
winchfest for our hardcore guys. No way we could do it without some serious
winching. The exit is killer.

Wow that's in great shape.
