There was a somewhat famous photograph from the 1970s, that was a night shot of a family of 8 on safari in Rhodesia. When the family got home and developed the film, the flash had illustrated the dozen or leopards (or lions) lurking 30 feet behind them, just out of human nigh vision range....

Yes he did.
What happened to trailer #1? Also, (and I think I already know the answer to this ?) but how was the 80 on that u-haul last year? I had a trailer lined up for rausch, but it was a little overkill.... 24' deck, 4500lb... With the 80 would have been pushing the limits of a 5.7 tundra (suspension wise)... Have another possibility I need to check into
Uhauls do fine with an 80. Ross' trailer is an old uhaul and I used it to tow an 80 back from Maryland.

Long story short the guy never had a title. Waited four months.Told him to come pick the trailer up and give me back my money.
Other than being way overloaded and squeezed on. The uhaul trailer did fine. You can't tell them you are towing an 80. If you are going to rent one make sure you get the newer al aluminum one. They are wider. And you need to use your own straps. They use a 2" ball as well.
Good to know for the future. I've got an OK to borrow a 10k lb trailer in exchange for replacing some of the decking....pretty good deal.
Today I walked into the local toyota parts department to pick up belts for the 80. I was wearing my work shirt (I work for a HVAC company that buys their trucks at this Heritage Ford/Toyota dealer). The parts guy was like "oh you work for them? I'll give you the discount".
20% off of parts. Shaweet!! Wish I had known about this 7 years ago!!!!!!! Damn it.
So if this would help any body out let me know.

in case you might not know, you don't want the cog looking belts on that truck.

Got the toyota regular V-belts. Does T make cog belts? Unfortunately forgot to order the A/C belt which had been removed by PO.... Compressor spins freely, time for refrigeration leak check.
No they don't. The issue is with the idler pulley. The cog style ones make a lot of noise as they run over that pulley.

Absolutely crazy week, been busy working on the house for hours after work getting ready for our appraisal so we can refinance (stressful, tiring but rewarding).
Trying to be super productive for my final week of my plumbing/property maintenance job, wrapping up a few time sensitive remodels since this Thursday is my last day till the Fall (in a full time capacity).
Working at the Boys and Girls Club trying to get the camp ready for the summer in between the property maintenance job and the ongoing work at home.....arghh
Brianna and I went away to celebrate our anniversary to our family's camp in Maine this weekend where we celebrated by opening an envelope that contained the sex of our bun in the oven! (it's a boy!).
Came home to get a call that my Grandmother passed away today. This hits me extremely hard because she was more of a mother in my life.
What's life without being busy and running the roller coaster of highs and lows life has to offer?

Hey Elizabeth (and "N8"), thanks. Our official due date is November 5th which happens to be my birthday. More often than not your first pregnancy runs a little later. Super cool thought none the less.
The date of 11/5 in my family is one that comes up often in our history so it was extra special to hear that date as a "due" date.
