Dear lord! Sorry to hear!

Seemed like a good idea at the time, back in early 90s...however I never succumbed to the co-requisit mullet... :hillbilly:

Is that top bolted down? It's hazardous to transport one if it ain't. :bang:

It looks like a button buck deer with those little clearance lights up top. Are you sure you can afford all this stuff? :grinpimp:

I think you need to buy a YJ. Just happen to have a 1/2 way decent one for a lot less than your spending. :hillbilly:

Well due to a number of reasons from needing to clean up the yard to a FJ40 fitting the family better I have picked up a new FJ40 and will be saying goodbye to the FJ45 project (which will have a great new home in VT).

I picked up the 40 in CT on Sunday and took it straight up to Wally. Its very original, runs, drives and stops. Last time it was registered was 1988 and its been a yard truck since so its pretty low miles (>30k). Plans are to have a good mostly stock driver. OME lift and 33x10.5x15s on stock wheels.

Man that needs a lot of work. More power to you.
I'm a little confused what happened to your 40 with the cage in it? You had 38's?

Pretty sure he's still building it. Just wanted a 40 to tote the family around in which seems more doable than in the 45. Not to mention the 45 had some work left to go.

Still have that 40 w/ 38"s and it will get done. I need to get the 45 cleaned out to put the house up for sale. This way I have a running and driving truck which will fit kids. It looks like a lot of work but Wally will take care of the body the I will base line the truck and go from there.

OK the 40 on 38's is still a go. Good. What's your plans for a tow rig?
Where you moving to?

Both?

Wife's pathfinder is rated at 6,000# which will pull tow duty till I get another pick up in a couple years.

Moving to Mass south of Worcester just off rt146 to Whitinsville.

So I'll have a wheeling 40 and a stocker 40

Got it thanks.

Looking at 1 ton vans myself for work/tow rig.

9,600 payload... Should work.

Trailer Queen pussies!

Trailer Queen pussies!

Says the guy who could push his truck home from the trail. ;p

This may be a brilliant scheme of Lane's to get us to drive, break and eventually leave our broken trucks at his house so that he may rob parts off them.

I thought my plan was a secret.

Congrats Jason! Sorry to see the 45 go but get why you're doing it. Looking forward seeing what you and Wally build. Fun stuff.
