Wow. So how did you leave it with him. What was his plan? Seems he didn't realize it was out of gas at that point.

Left Millis at 11 pm last night and drove the 70 to Richmond, VA. Made it fine with no sleep. 9 hours solid driving. Transaction was smooth and took place at the airport. New owner dropped me off at the terminal and I got in line for a ticket. 4 minutes later he calls me to say the truck has broken down on the airport exit road.
I get out of line, catch a cab, have the cabbie wait for me as I furiously pump, tighten, crack, prime and cry. I had to get back in the cab and leave him on the side of the road to catch my plane.
Realized in the air that I drove 5 hours straight on one tank. He ran out of diesel 1 mile from the airport. I was s***ting myself that I'd have a dead truck in VA.
Phew! Now time to sleep....
If only we all could have been flies on the wall during this journey.
Can't go wrong with a lab. Logan is the best dog I have ever had. Are you going English or American?
We get together with a couple other lab owners in the area to run them and two just had a litter and are about 4 weeks old. Just little fir balls.
