Not being picked up now. My cashiers check is in processing. The owner was going to let me pick up the truck now and send the title after the check clears. His wife found out about our idea and freaked out AFTER I already scheduled the pickup for 5pm today. Bummer. Anyone who is married would understand so no big deal. Soon Ralph, soon.

Anyway, my 70 had a cool sticker on the back that said "MADE TO RESCUE JEEPS" I liked the ball busting aspect of it so I had 100 made up on a sticker site on the interwebs. Should be here soon. I'll have 99 left over so I'll sell them for $1.50 each including postage if anyone wants one. I'll bring them to the FG too.

I'll take a couple!

I'll buy a couple off you for sure.

MPG aside, can anyone give me a reason not to buy a well priced, low mileage 2006 4Runner V8, 4WD SR5? (V6's are about the same price, or oddly higher, and the MPG difference is minor)

I can't find a bad word about these things (unlike the Saab 9-5 wagons I was also interested in).

Wouldn't be a wheeler, would be a family (2 adults, 1+ kids, 2 dogs) hauler, tow'er, etc.

We have a 2003 and the head room is terrible. If I had to do it again I'd try and find a GX470.

cause its not made for tall freaks:flipoff2: just short bastards like myself

Had my Nissan inspected just now down the street and asked him about the 55 mods. They guy said he doesn't care what the truck has on it for lift or any violation as long as the lights and brakes work. he said he'll just claim any modifications were done after his inspection. Problem solved!

It is amazing what a case of wine will get you

We have an 04 4runner. Like it very much. I'm not as tall as Rick so I haven't noticed any head room issues. We have the 8cyl as well. Been a solid driver for us.

Spent 3 hours up in the woods this morning doing sign work
on Wambus 2. Nice trail, can't wit to run it!
Trying to decide if I want to pull the tranny/t-case out of the 40.
Still have a slight death wobble even after tightening everything that I can think
of. I'm somewhat stumped on this.
After 6 weeks off from work I have to go back tomorrow, not looking forward to it.
Except for gaining weight I didn't see anything bad about not working, I'm ready
to retire!

Speaking of retirement, I have 6 months left in the Navy. Just finished my resume and this is my first one EVER. Anybody a HR professional or skilled at reviewing these things? Need to purchase my first suit...maybe this weekend.

55 is getting dropped off today. I'm in VA and won't see it till tomorrow. Looking forward to m,y wife's reaction tonight when she gets home from work!

Yeah I can't see it being a good thing when the wife meets your new dirty pig for the first time. Probably best you aren't around.
