Kina's name popped up yesterday about the rust.

Working details out on both trucks at the moment. Should be sold within the next 2 weeks.

Stay away from the rusty one!! Once it starts, it is hard to really get rid of it. To properly fix it, you should sandblast the entire body, cut out the rusty areas, and then finish it.(very expensive) If you plan on keeping it, the rust bubbles will return over time. It is way easier (and cheaper) to replace motors and transmissions. Keep in mind that pig weatherstripping is HUGE $$$$$. and a windsheild costs $600

I have to agree with Gary. Plus you never know about how the previous owner "Modified" the truck. I would much rather have a straight rust free truck. All else can be repaired. Plus you can modify it how you see fit.

aren't you coming up this way? You should check out those pigs here before you commit.

mmm...rust free 55.

Not sure what he is still selling, he changes mind on it/them often.

Rabid- I'm up there next Weds and would like to check it out. Kina has some sweet sheet metal at his place too. Perhaps a body swap could be in order down the road but I'd likely let the truck rot out from under me before I actually did the swap over. I had Rabid's buddy's truck in mind the second I saw the FL truck as perhaps a donor body down the road??

BTW, the "Pease" house across the street has been torn down and is being loaded into a dumpster as I type. FInally....

That thing is still kicking around that shop? DAMN I wish I had the cash...
That thing is a super nice builder....

If I had the skills and the time I would have grabbed it already

Must of got some crazy looks

it did get some looks but the ones I noticed the most were (beside from 4 college girls who stopped talking and turn to stare at it as I went around a corner) all the cops doing the construction detail stared it down I passed a dozen construction sites or so and it became a game of how long it would take them to notice it and then they would lock in on it. crazy. glad everything is legal.. ..

jason did you get the new suspension installed yet?

Still holding off for now. I have a lot of mods ready for the truck. Just not sure how I want to attack them. I have the springs, 60 series PS box, tires, H55. Also I have a 2f thats being cleaned up.

Left Millis at 11 pm last night and drove the 70 to Richmond, VA. Made it fine with no sleep. 9 hours solid driving. Transaction was smooth and took place at the airport. New owner dropped me off at the terminal and I got in line for a ticket. 4 minutes later he calls me to say the truck has broken down on the airport exit road.

I get out of line, catch a cab, have the cabbie wait for me as I furiously pump, tighten, crack, prime and cry. I had to get back in the cab and leave him on the side of the road to catch my plane.

Realized in the air that I drove 5 hours straight on one tank. He ran out of diesel 1 mile from the airport. I was s***ting myself that I'd have a dead truck in VA.

Phew! Now time to sleep....
