Bee stings are no fun. We raised bees for a few years and would get stung every now and then.
Got stung one time just below the eye, that side of my face blew right up. Eye was closed, (the good eye)
other eye was open but vision was terrible. 3 days where everything was just a big blur. Worst part was we never made enough honey to save any for ourselves.
Have a friend who is a bee keeper and the stings never seem to bother him.

Bet you didn't see that coming!

Starting antibiotics since all my beestings have become infected. I look like I have big port-wine stains on my legs and my right forearm looks like Popeye.

john that just brutal  bees are no fun to be around especially if you way up on a ladder with no where to go that's the kind of fun i have with em:cool: hope your swelling goes down

Got stung on the eyelid 3 different times as a kid. That hurt. I was stung driving my 40 a few years ago while driving 50 mph. I had Lyme Disease at the time and didn't know it and my arms swelled up pretty good. Come to think of it, I never really got much of a reaction to beestings until after I had Lyme Disease.

I'm adding ticks and deer to my extinction list.

Perfect candidate to be a Bubble Boy!

As a surveyor, I get into bees all the time. Usually about 2-3 times a year. last year, I stepped ino a mudwasp nest while clearing line with a chainsaw. It took a while to figure out what was happening, i ran about 75 yards, had bees in the pants , took them off while the wasps where still swarming. not allergic, but swelled up alot. took some benadrill and was better in a day or so. i figure I got stung about 50 times on that one. Worst part was that I dropped the saw on the nest and had to grab it while the very angry wasps were all over it

Lane,
How is the honeydo list coming?

50 times...holy cow!!! The most I've been stung was 6 times in like 10 seconds when I stepped on a wasp hive while looking for an RC plane. This was a few years back, and no reaction at all, but I can still feel those burning little stingers as if it just happen 10 seconds ago...:censor:

Good! So far I've replaced the tub and sink facets in the upstairs bath. And much to my surprise
they didn't leak. Right now I'm working on a 30 sq ft patch in the maple floor in the living room.
The original furnace in the house used just one big vent (36"x36") right in the middle of the floor.
So I've cut back the existing floor and staggered all the joints. Made a jig up and used a router to get
straight cuts.
Planned to fit all the pieces first then take it apart and nail it. But I think I'll just go and rent the flooring
hammer in the morning and do it all then. Then we just have to sand all of it down and refinish.

Spent the weekend doing fun stuff, went to the beach then to Portsmouth for dinner.
Saturday we went to Brattleboro for the farmers market and just relaxed.
I could get used to this not working!

This week has been crawling by, on a positive note, I did get half of the lift installed in the 73. 34's in the front with 4" springs with slightly taller shackles and little pizza cutters out back with old stock springs(at least it looks cool if looked at from the front), I'm hoping to install the rear lift this weekend.

Went and looked at this a few hours ago.
It's a 92, 176K miles, looks like it's in pretty good shape.
He's asking $3000 but I'm pretty sure he'd take less.
There's a Center Diff Lock switch but I didn't see anything
that would leave me to think it has the lockers.
If anyone is interested I have his #.
