Going to the barn tomorrow to hang with a couple of friends, the wives and chilluns have other plans. Probably talk smack, drink a few, weld something that didn't need welding, and count some more gears for Shumates t-case. A true Independence day

You free this weekend? shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to wrap that up.

As for specs she was born at 7lbs 9.6oz and was 20.5 inches long.

The dog has been really funny with her. Comes over and sniffs her then gives her a lick on the head. She started crying in the middle of the night last night and he let out a little groan. Pretty funny.

We have angered the rain gods.....at least in Medway, MA they were angry this morning.

Also, just got a call from a girl down the road who saw my "Jeep" and wants to buy it. I said no.

Dude...teach her what a Toyota jeep is, then one day she will feel the same way all Land Cruiser owners feel when they hear the word Jeep.

Yep... I was torn between the JonFund event and Kina's but went with the shorter drive. Had a great turnout... got to see some good carnage on Wombus too.

I'd almost forgotten what the sun looked like! Yeah!

Got my lawns mowed, got the house cleaned up and Jack's room redecorated in all-Star Wars, got some fishing time with the wife even.

Now it's off to visit the in-laws for dinner and pick up our boy.

Adding bees to my list of species I need to make extinct. Got stung like crazy today cutting bushes.

First eye doctor appointment in a long time went well. My right eye is near-perfect, my left is crap, farsighted with astigmatism. Doc recommends a stronger reading/screen time prescription but still holding off on "full time" glasses, thankfully. New lenses in 10 days, keeping my same frames. Dilation sucks, for the record, I can barely read my computer right now.

Starting antibiotics since all my beestings have become infected. I look like I have big port-wine stains on my legs and my right forearm looks like Popeye.

yikes! have you ever had an allergic reaction to bee's before?

No but I got stung quite a bit. I was trimming a bush that had a large bees nest in it unbeknownst to me at the time. I think it was a result of the large number of stings more than anything. If I get stung once it's no big deal. My leg and ankle are swollen a little but getting better. I think a few stingers were still in there. I had a dermatologist check me out yesterday. Stupid bees.
