you obviously were not wearing the pooh suit

last time I went to a friends shop to get my 40 inspected (almost 2 years now :( ) I stopped by his shop in my little camry DD to make an appt for the cruiser, and he said

"here is a sticker. Don't bring that thing here."

4Runner left my wife stranded at work. Starter solenoid clicks but does not rotate. That's my weekend project other than I have to work another weekend including Veteran's day (I am active duty) and with regards to inspections.....I am going to Florida for Thanksgiving and will return with FL plates. Done with the nit picking on my junk. I am also trying to get the 4runner up to Kinas for welding/fabricating.

Bring me back some FL plates too.

They also failed me cuz I can't find my front license plate

what are you collecting license plates?

No but I wouldnt worry about inspection anymore.

I'm not really a collector of anything but I have dozens of plates off all the cars that I've bought and sold so I guess I have a de-facto plate collection

Wish your buddy was closer to home...I am not looking forward to getting the '64 inspected...not cause I am worried of my work, but because I don't feel like having to tell someone that yes, this is how she came out of the factory...less some rust  Anyways, that's for next spring.

Kina has my 4Runner

Dropped the 95 4runner at Kina's on Sunday.
(1) Modify the mounting brackets for the TJM front bumper I took off my 85 4runner
(2) Fix rust/create wings for the rear quarters. Integrate into the Stout Equipment rear bumper I also took off the 85.

Sliders too?

Sliders eventually.... I am losing the rocker panels, so I need to decide if/how to repair before welding on sliders.

I can honestly say that is the most ridiculous cruiser thing I've ever seen. period.

for some reason im not digg'in that red brush guard :D

Today's theoretical mathematics lesson...

(wet pavement) + (wet floormat) X (big man doing a split) = seriously ripped khakis.

This post/ math lesson is worthless without pics

I'm especially happy that my split-n-rip getting into the car was witnessed by all the tough-guy contractor types in the Dan & Whit's parking lot eating their lunch in their trucks.

The only thing I hurt was my pride... and my 9.99 khakis.

NoNoNo, this post is fine with-out the pics! There are some things that just should
not be shown.

But Dave-

What do the "tough-guy contractor types" drive?

nuff said....
