Crew cab is still sitting at the port in Baltimore. the haulers never went back to pick it up after the last incident. other drivers are passing on picking it up cuz the port people are such a PITA. Throwing in an extra $100 bonus to any driver that picks it up today. Not very happy. It's been there for almost 2 weeks......

Hoping to see it tomorrow but it's a longshot
 
No chance of pickup now at the port until Monday. Extremely frustrated
 
any updated pics of the crew cab yet?
 
Once it gets here I'll be starting a thread on it. Got a pile of parts waiting to go on it. Thought I'd be doing that all weekend. Now I'll be doing yardwork.
 
105 degrees in my mail truck this afternoon, I liked the cool rainy
weather better.

Bought JJS' FJ40. Getting it dropped off this afternoon by jeff's buddy. Going to keep the engine, adapter, discs, wiring, and a few other fun parts for the crew cab. Parting out the rest. Very excited about the engine as it looks real sweet.

Wife has made 2 junkyard comments this morning after I unveiled my plan. Once it's apart it'll be tough to argue that one out.

Either way I have a good view of how the crew cab will be. Now I just need to to get here...hopefully will get picked up by Tuesday.
 
do you have new pics of the crew cab?
 
It's still sitting in Baltimore......Still wanna trade the LV for it?
 
the day before I left on my michigan vacation i opened the garage door s opened the tailgate and hatch back stretched out and took a nap. maybe down the road but I am not sure you will own your crew cab long enought for me to get the lv on the road and figure out what to do then. I do think I am 99.9% sure I will keep the lv. too much into it .
but I am excited you will be picking up my fj62 rear from Gary to Mucd ship it down for me :D
 
Gotta see what the car situation is. not sure if the axle can happen. will know tomorrow.

no worries if it doesn't happen. not sure a axle would really fit in a volvo wagon anyway.

Is this the one that was sitting next to mine in Baltimore?

The trucker I used is Daniels Transport. He's in NH. He told me he didn't have any work lined up until Sept. 5th when he dropped off my Troopy this past Wed.

Crew Cab is scheduled for pickup tomorrow. Delivery on Thursday......

Made it to Burlington, VT today for work. beautiful city!
 
When will it stop?

First I turned 50, as of last night at around 9 I'm a Grandpa!
Step daughter had a boy, 7lbs 9oz. His Dad drives a Jeep
but I'll work hard to teach the young fella the Toyota way.

it feels like friday, i wish it were friday. headed to montana on sunday for backpacking in glacier national park, then a couple of days fishing the madison, yellowstone and slough creek then hanging in yellowstone for a few wrapped up by a night in jackson

I hiked through parts of glacier a while back. If you have not been, you will not be dissapointed. It is unreal.
