My cruiser wheels like a champ. However, I am not happy with the over all ground clearance of the rig. If I could get some j springs for cheep do you know what other mod parts would be needed (what does slee recomend etc) in order to prevent other performance problems etc. and I would need to find out if my shocks would still work.

I read the slee tech page agian last night. I never got my ome casters installed I need to do this. But if I do install j springs....... will I need more caster correction Im just a carpenter man.

I am not a "search" nazi at all so I will try and give you some input. First, you need some drop blocks for the sway bars. Then some extended brake lines, then some slee caster plates, oh yes dont forget to adjust your rear proportioning valve. You might want to put on Mr Gaskets up front to not have it rake down. There are many other things you might want to do as well, but most of them are sort of if you need them or not due to your type of wheeling. This is just a few items but hopefully it will help you out on what you need to do. Good luck, Chans

One of the Sticky threads that top the 80's Tech forum is the ROTW (rig of the week). Check that out and maybe you'll see a rig you'd like to emulate. Makes things simple, as you can simply pick one of they're mods at a time, and go shopping for all the required parts. All the while knowing what the end result will look and possible feel like in various scenarios.

Not sure if you can access CruiserGarage without a Silver Star Membership or not, but it will also hold a wealth of info on various rides here.

TY
