Yep, budgets are a pain
If it wasn't for budgetary constraints and those stupid import laws, I would own a fleet of Cruisers. That of course is assuming my wife gave me permission. :)

In the BJ74 pictured with "rust in rockers': is that more cosmetic or structural? In an MGB (unibody, my experience base) rusty rockers can be a big deal, not just a patch.

How serious a problem is this?
 
My old '90 F150 had manual lockers... I kind of liked that.

Unless you have time, tools, talent and cash it can be a big problem. Remember parts are not readily available.
 
Wheel base difference between the 70/71 and the 73/74 is actually 11.42 inches. The rear overhang is the same for both.
