Hey all. I am a frequent lurker but don't post really at all, since I don't have a whole lot of valuable info to add to discussions. I just wanted to say thanks to all who do take the time to provide really valuable info to this site. I recently had a CEL on my GF's 80, and with the help of this forum was able to get it taken care of. (if you're interested, it was a P0420 code, catalytic convertor issue. I was able to just disconnect the battery and reset the computer, code has not come back for a month, so I guess it was just an isolated event). At any rate, I just wanted to let everyone here know that your expertise is greatly appreciated. I have been reading a lot of info about the birf job, and with all the great info here, I think i will try to tackle it myself sometime in the near future. Anyone in Missoula, MT want to give me a hand? :D

Once again, thanks to all for making this forum such a valuable resource for newbs like me!

I don't live close, but i would love to visit the area. It has been a dream of mine for some time to see the big sky. Birf job is not toooooo bad, but it's nice to have an extra set of hands and a knowledgeable mind.

Don't forget, lots of paper towels and brake cleaner! :D

More like a box of towels and a case of brake cleaner!! and did i mention tarps or plastic?

well, if you are ever in the area, let me know. I would be more than happy to play tour and raft guide in exchange for LC labor! :D

I am looking forward to the mess and learning more about the vehicle...
