Dig the color, nice ride, and welcome!

Only thing that looks off to me would be the filler door. Mine is a JUne 72 I dont have a door and mines not squared at the top like your filler area.

rear fuel tanks a great idea. i get about 15 miles to gal with the engine I got and driving I do. so I too have an extra tank. the Northwest metal product 22 gal tank with skid..great investment.
thats a great straight looking Fj! I like that OD paint job

Do you have the ignition on the steering column too?

I dont think Re-tub-ing is a problem as long as your VIN # plate matches the # on the frame. I think the PO should have disclosed it too. It certainly should effect the price.

What lookes to be newer, i'm new to this and do not know the little details. the Vin tag in the driver side door jamb say Sep. 72' and it is registered a 72'...is there something I should know? here are three other pics one shows the Bezel.

The steering wheel and steering column look newer as well. There's nothing wrong with it, it still is a nice rig. I was just being observant. Maybe the P/O did some upgrades. Does it have front disc brakes?

Just thinking, not suggesting...

Hey Jesse, welcome to registering. I've been lurking and just registered also. Looking at your pictures and thought they looked familiar, turns out you're from Burney. I'm down in Redding. Neighbors practically. Welcome to the club, and sweet rig!
