For Sale: TH400 trans (Chevy small block bolt pattern) with fj60 split transfercase


Trans has low miles (~10k) on a rebuild the t-case was rebuilt at the same time and the torque converter was new when replaced. The trans and t-case do not leak. they are connected by an Advanced Adapters kit. They are currently in My FJ60 and will be pulled in the next week or so. (They have been pulled and are in my garage now) I am asking $900 for the complete setup. If you are in Southern California and want to drive it feel free to come by try it I am in Simi Valley. (They have been removed so test drive is not possible.)

I am willing to ship this thing at your cost, but I'm sure it must go freight and it is way heavy.

I'm driving a 40 with a 350 mated up to the stock 3-speed....you know if this would work in my truck? sorry..i'm pretty new to this... But, I do live in Southern California..

I know it has been done before. You will have a short drive shaft. It is a much stronger transfercase than the stock 40 case. If you want to come by and see it run let me know it most likely will be pulled out next week. Ask around in the 40 section for more opinions.

A rebuilt splitcase is at least $300 (parts for the rebuild are about $200)
A fresh TH400 is worth at least $800

Total $1750

I must be crazy to sell this so cheap!

really stinks when you are trying to push something off cheap and no one bites on it. I have the same thing but a 700r4 set up and cant move it. other than the blow off steam you get a bump
