That is a dash light rehostat, same as in my HZJ78, I think it is standard in the 78/79 series.

the fan panel show A/C option but you don't have the A/C

Auto meter sticker, potentiometer on lower right behind the shift knob, and extra small philips screw head on lower right of stereo trim.

I also noticed on the way to work that your heater vent on the left hand side of the stereo opens and closed were as mine only has that on the far left and right side of the dash.

Hello Clint,

The vent has an open/close knob. Central vents are supposed to be fixed, whereas leftmost/rightmost ones can be either open or closed.

On the other hand, the ashtray color looks different from the dash. It seems to be brown; the dash is black.

Juan you nailed it , I put a open /close vent in the mddle from my 75 , to keep the missus happy when the aircon is working to good
