I understood it didn't exist. I understood it couldn't be done.
Replaced the aging / increasingly flaky HVAC integrated touchscreen.

I understood this was the only way out
Pre-03 nav delete how-to

Looks like there is a new solution on the market

All HVAC functions work
No Antenna Up / Down control (small problem)

Nice to see that there are products being developed.
I would absolutely *love* to get a Tesla like screen for my 2002 LX470 with Nav.

Looks like one of those hideously bright screens that light up the driver's face at night and blind him.... Is there a "night mode"?

IMO it's the opposite problem - too dim during the day

Many, many threads already.

Agreed, however, this looks like a product that may work with the older 'Nav' systems as a plug and play solution.

Limited availability currently from what I can tell.

Hopefully OP can give insight as to-

Sourcing in the US

Plug and play with OEM harness or did you follow the splicing instructions.

Not sure on this specific model, but I bought a double din android head unit for my pre nav LX. Pluses are the access to modern apps, nice screen, fairly snappy and micro SD/USB connections. Minuses are that's it a little buggy, sound output is not great, blue tooth calls are sometimes fairly staticy. The worst has been the screen which has gone all game boy pixels on me. Again want to stress these are totally different units but overall quality is hit and miss.

Bought & installed in Kyrgyzstan. Local installers splice they said "about 80 wires"
Googling that product name shows US suppliers
