I have a 89 62 and the temp is in the red it keeping going up and down... I have changed all there is to change is there somthing Im missing..

Search for "crazy gauges" in this forum. It may be a serious problem, but this crazy gauges thing is not all that isolated and it causes the temp and fuel guages (in a 60) to go nuts. It's a bad ground somewhere, mine does it occasionally but not enough to make me want to track it down.

This is what I believe to be the most common question here. Number one thing to do to your truck is instal a mechanical temp gauge. Cost very little and will take less than an hour even for a beginner. You need to find out if your having truck problems or gauge problem before you start chasing symptoms. While your at it install a mechanical oil gauge.
Hi, It is almost always the in dash fuel gauge. I base this on owning 12 land cruisers. But thats just my idea.

Thank all for info I will look at next week. Im not as worred.. Im going to get mechanical temp gauge and a oil one as well.. Im not worried about the fuel I keep it full all the time.. thank all for your help I will let you all know what I come up with...
I have the opposite problem, my temp gauge NEVER moves. For all i know I could bed frying my engine every day
