If you really want to wheel it, get one. The reason NOT to get one is because what you really need is something like a Rav4 that gets twice the fuel economy and will still get the mountain bikes to the trail head. A lot of us "over vehicle" ourselves in the mistaken belief we really need all this iron to go look at the sunset.
