X2. I used the same one on my 2 Dodges and Tundra. Works awesome!

have had one for 5 years or so, maybe more. No problem, works great. Was pretty much IT when I bought it.

I just checked your link. I did NOT ever use that device. I used the P3 controller. I have no idea if that thing works or not. Sorry.

Search turned up nothing . . .

Does anyone have experience with the Tekonsha Prodigy RF brake controller?

It looks to be pretty slick, but possibly too good to be true?

I use the P2 in my 80 and, as of last week, in my Gx470. Its easy [enough] to wire, works with minimal fuss and has been dead reliable. Whats not to love?
My only complaint is that the boost mode seems to sneak on by itself sometimes, which makes stop and go city driving a little herky jerky until I remember to turn it off.

Is that the RF controller? I dont want to hack into my wiring.

No, just buy a wiring kit, it's not hard and will cause fewer problem. You can get a kit to adapt the taillights that's is plug and play and the wired brake controller is easy enough with only 1 easy write splice. I mean you have to run new wires back from the battery anyway to power the brakes, might as well hard wire the whole thing while your at it.

For what its worth, I think the fast lane truck has used systems like this before with great success. I still think its worth splicing into that one wire for the extra confidence, but thats just me. Its an easy install. I would be happy to help/walk you through it if you wanted.
