go buy a mac !

I second that statement! I went Mac last Christmas and will NEVER buy another PC again!!! You don't really think I made that SCC video on my own, do you? ;)

Paul, is your camera able to record in different modes? Did you change any of the camera's settings? Maybe it can't convert it because you recorded in a different mode. Just thinking out loud....... :hmm:

weellll that is a possibility

the thing is Sony cam HDR-SR11
program Sony picture motion browser

it goes through all the steps like it has in the past but when it comples the window that says that it completed the conversion
states file conversion failed.

to my knowledge everything is the same as in past conversions

as of this post have not found any troubleshoot or faq`s

tried reload the Sony disc also updates no luck

might remove & install again when have a moment or two

will try a DVD burn .

got Jean to go MAC last year and she won`t go back to a piece of crap again either

Anyone tried Ubuntu on a PC? That's what I install on the PC's I recycle and donate.

once u go mac u never go back ! ,, deff for my photography mac in the best buy far , running programs and start ups , and the 27 inch screen hd ,, hell yea ! and it has boot camp wher if i need windows i can run it

Ubuntu is an source alternative to Windows that runs on the Linux kernel. There is a tad bit of a learning curve which is getting better every day as they make it more manageable. It's great and a free way to keep a computer running without having to pay for an OS upgrade. Best of all, it doesn't require a beefy computer system, so you can run it on that old computer system that's been sitting in the basement, er um....garage? I forgot that there are no basements in da bayou state!

No prob. I use Windoze 7 and Ubuntu Netbook Remix with dual boot option on my Acer Aspire One netbook. Both work extremely well.

Way to be neutral Isaac. :hillbilly:

Are you here in town? You gonna be home Sunday evening? Just want to see how to get the hitch to you after I get it Sun. :hmm:

I will be home Sunday evening but I can pick it up or what ever is convenient for you.

I'm trying to shift my torque curve and was looking at (instead of going diesel) getting a crawler cam and the rock ripper header. Anyone had experience with these types of mods in the past? I don't think anyone is running them now, but just though it might have been mods used on rigs past?

I am hoping to move peak torque down to the 2000-2500 range or lower if possible.

Also, how big can my exhaust be before it is too big? I am running 2.25" cat back right now and I am thinking of going with a full 2" to compliment the headers. I just want to free up as much as I can without loosing back pressure. Man...I wish I had access to a dyno.

There is a toyota turbo on craigslist for $150 up here........nah.

Well, I got the later model intake and an extra head that I could always take to a machine shop. I was just thinking for about $300 and some elbow grease, I could gain some low end torque. (of course exhaust will add to that cost, but is not needed right away because the header kit is everything cat forward and I already have 2.25 cat back)
