im prob gonna pull the fj n at ryans shop and knock it out n one evenning yall can join in his world class shop ,

Had a buddy do the 4.7 upgrade (or downgrade depending on how you look at it!) and had to clearance his tcase. Ended up with a hole in the side and had to find another donor case. Be careful if you end up having to remove some metal. Check for fitment with each pass or two with the grinder. That's all the input I have if that is even helpful at all!

Guys, I need to change my brake pads this week. I'm running short on research time, so if anyone has done them on an 80, can you confirm that I can use 100 series pads in the front and 80 pads in the rear? I'm going to order them from Musson tomorrow.

I thought I read somewhere that you could, I'm still running the 80 pads front and rear. Side note I did a rear brake job on the wife's Sequoia yesterday and the rear pads are the same as the 80's I'm thinking the front is probably the same as the 100 or 80.

Oh well in the usual cruiser mania, I think they say you can use 100 pads which are bigger and better I guess. You know we can't go stock if there is any alternative!

I'm running the Oreilly Wagner pads on both the Sequoia and 80 and they're just as good as any I've bought.

Yeah, that is pretty cool. I guess I should mention that I have never tried the Tundra or Sequoia pads. I have read that here on mud in a few different threads.

Don't know the year but it was off a Astro Van, He also had a few computers he was using and was uploading maps to at one point. A few guys at SCC was telling me about this bolt on kit that was worth the coin and took out all the guess work. Jrob with Cottonland may have the setup on his rig he'll be there.
