I believe you can find them in the electric form also. I was told drag cars have them. So if you look on summit I bet you could find them. If you had electric ones you could install them on each wheel. This would alow you to lock the wheel so you could turn the truck around a rock or tree. 
All you would need are some electric actuators that could handle the break fluid. I wonder how that would work with lockers. I guess you would have to have a selectable locker to run it like a dozer.
Another though, if you could control each wheel individually, it might actually eliminate some of the need for a locker. When a wheel breaks traction, you could lock that one up and an open diff would be forced to transfer torque to the tire with traction!

I am locked too, but it would be interesting to see how an open diff would respond when you can control breaking individually. It is also thinking outside of the box to solve multiple problems, which I love.
all be good just don`t use as a long term parking brake wheel cylinders calipers and brake hoses won`t take the load for a long period of time

X2 on what Corey said they work great but I'll go with the electric next time. On a trail maintenance day I rode with a gentleman from Alexandria with the electric 1 in front and 1 in the rear and they worked great. I went with the Jamar unit and though it worked great on the trail I wasn't crazy about bringing the lines in the cab. When I got in my accident and locked up the brakes it locked up the line lock valve but I planned it right when I did my plumbing in the case it failed it could be easily removed. Its funny you mentioned it I brought it to work and have it right here on my desk. I'm about to ship it back to Jamar to fix it.

On a manual trans rig with a carb where you may kill the engine on a vertical climb with an obsticle to get over its a big help to use the line lock to hold you in place start it up let out on the clutch and bump the brake to release the lock and away you go. Those with a good ebrake you don't need it but the ebrake on my 40 won't hold me on a vertical slope where this does.
on the list. just don't know how far down yet.
Is that normal? I use my hand brake on my old BJ-40 on steep mountains and it works just fine.The valve idea is awesome. I hate having to pull my hand brake while trying to keep from going back wards. I usually let off the clutch and then take off the hand brake all while pinching my finger in between the shaft of the hand brake and my dash.

I find the oem ebrake will hold fine for normal use but in those steep vertical situations it won't hold it. I have it adjusted as tight as it goes I may just need some new shoes for it.

Looking for cheap extended brake lines for a 79-85 pickup/4runner. Does anyone have suggestions of what vehicles I can pull a set off of? So far I have been told 240sx or pull a rear line off of 2 to make 2 fronts.
