Every once in awhile we get the opportunity have folks over for a good old fashioned tech night here in the shop. We are fortunate to have a great local TLCA chapter the Wasatch Cruisers here in town and with 50+ members, there is always a Cruiser in need of repair and a group wanting to learn more about.
Tonight we had over a dozen members of the Wasatch Cruiser club, our friends Onur and Robbie from Proffitts Cruisers (and Mud
) and TR from ARB USA for a monthly tech night in the shop. Randy's FJ40 got a newer ARB compressor (his was over 15 years old!) as well as some new plumbing and cleaned up wiring. It was a great opportunity for folks to help troubleshoot the system from testing pressure at the locker to power at the pressure switch, we covered all the bases in our hunt for solutions. While one crew did electrical and plumbing work, a second crew dismantled Michah's disc brake front axle. He's hoping to have it all back together under his FJ40 by Cruise Moab, with help from the club members he is off to a great start. Thanks again for coming out everyone!
