Tcase reduction

Quick question: what is the ratio of an FJ62 tcase's low gear? Are 60s the same?

I think it is 2.24 or something like that. I have been told that 60s are also 2.24 but some say they are all 1.99 or 1.99 through 1984 and then 2.24 from then on.

I thought all 62 comes with 2.278 but I read in some place on the net that he auto tranny 62 comes with 2.48 not sure ..

I dont think its that good, IIRC the early "3-speed" t-case is lower than the 60s and they have like 2.32 or something.
