The last one left is at Summer & White Station. The rest became Starbucks.

Edit: there are two left. You don't want to go to the other one. Neither does Starbucks.

Taqueria Guadelupana?

Mighty good!

Rendezvous...no thanks. I am not a fan. In fact, I can't really get into Memphis BBQ....

Villa no...Mr B's, no.

Andrew Michael....its good. Would like to do with a large group because it is small plates and a bit expensive.

May take him to Second Line. Its great

We did Soul Food last time and for the third time I have been there it has been crap all 3 times.

The ONLY bbq places I like are The Commissary (for the entire menu - sides and desserts) and One & Only for the brisket.

We have reps bring Corky's all the time, and it's just - lame. Boring.

Before giving up on Memphis BBQ, go get a sammich at Paynes. (chopped, hot, with slaw) It's on Lamar close to McLean. Don't wear a white shirt unless you bring a bib.
It's no place to take a boss, though; unless he likes slumming it at dives.
Bologna sammich is great too.

If you really want to clog some arteries, go for the "smoked sausage". It's one of those unnatural bright red jobs that they deep fry (probably in lard) and slap on a hotdog bun.
