For Sale Tallahassee, Florida: H55F Transmission (rebuilt) and transfer case

I’ve got a good H55F transmission and split case. I bought this unit from @joekatana about a year ago for a project that never really got off the ground. The transmission had been rebuilt and came with the transfer case. I have not installed the transmission and its been sitting on a pallet ever since. I can drop this bad boy off at Fastenal for easy shipping. I’m asking $2000 and that is what I have in this unit. What you see is what you get.

It’s a diesel variant so 1HZ etc. Same goes for the input shaft....this is for a diesel and not a gasser.

This is a H55 that came from behind a 1HZ and the guys from Wink 4x4 in the Netherlands did a rebuild on it , that is a very good deal at that price John .

Being a bit of a noob in the diesel world (and not *that* much more experienced in anything else...) can someone advise whether the 1HZ input shaft will bolt up to my 03/81 'B' engine? I have a feeling not (what I find says the input shaft for 1HZ is shorter than for the B) but wanted to throw a marker here pending guidance.

And yes, I realize I'll probably be swapping out the ol' B at some point.... but I can't buy a trans/txfr to just hold until then; if it'll fit while I use the 'B', great.

This appears to be for HZ/HDT engines. It is different from the B diesels and 2H/12HT diesels. "Diesel" is a bit vague for a description especially since 2H/12HT diesels trans are same as F series gassers. That being said, this is a smoking deal since it includes bellhousing. Also the vacuum split case is easy enough to convert over to manual shift.
