Talk to me about diffs and TC with Amsoil....

Who has had issue(s) with chatter after switching and/or have you had said issue(s) eliminated after using an additive of some sort?

I've been wanting to go with the 75W90 Extreme Gear for my rear diff; however, can't locate it so I was going to use the regular for now. Hell, I've got 9 liters of the regular so I'll be damned if I'm throwing it away.

Also, Amsoil's sight mentions something about 6.2 liters for the rear. I was under the impression it was closer to 3!!!!

Again, I can use 75W90 for all three, correct????

I've got 62K and I somehow doubt that any fluids have been changed.

OH YEAH and....

....the chatter is only prominent with rear diffs with Limited Slip Differentials that have gone from dino to synthetic, correct?

I know I've got Rear Lockers. How do I know if I've got a Limited Slip?

No limited slip diffs in an FJC.

Yes, you can use 75w-90 in all three applications (both diffs and the transfer case).

You can buy Severe Gear 75w-90 direct from Amsoil and they will ship it to you if you don't want to pick it up at a regional warehouse. Can't tell where you may be located.

If your diff is "chattering", you've got something major wrong.

You don't have a limited slip rear diff. Its either open or locked, depending on the switch position.

I run 75w/90 in all three of mine without issues though I run Royal Purple...
