Well, I bid $5k on this a day before finding out some pretty bad medical news that has put an indefinite hold on any new project or spending. No new bids in the last day and I’m pretty sure I’ll end up winning.

How bad of shape would I be in if I won? It’s Southern/no rust and a ton of service but just horrible timing.

And if they don't, just walk away from it. Do not complete the sale. You don't need more complexity when something comes up like a health issue.

Thanks - I alerted the seller already. It will be ending right as I go in for surgery so I figured I’d give him a heads up. He was very friendly about it.

I've sold 2 cars on that site, there are always a flood of bidders in the last 30 minutes. $5k for that is too cheap for that site, someone will bid just for fun.

To be fair even a rough GX was always going to be going for more than $5k. OP was never in any danger of winning it for $5k.

Yeah. Probably true. The market is tanking all around us though so you never know. 250k miles is a lot regardless of a bulletproof drivetrain!
