Anyone service/replace/re-pack wheel bearings on a 4wd 89-94 pickup with ADD. I'm replacing my driveshafts and figured I'd go the whole nine while the hubs are somewhat taken apart. Did a search but bubkis. Already have new races and oil seals as per FSM but have no idea how hard it's going to be to set new seals and races. Just looking for some hand-holding from a mud member who's done this more times than he can count.

Pull the locking hub/drive flange off, then the lock nuts and pull the outer bearing out and reinstall one of the large lock nuts and then pull the hub body off and it will pop the inner bearing and oil seal out easily.

I'm assuming you will have a shop install the new bearing races?

To install the new oil seals, I just use a big block of wood layed across them. It's not too bad of a job, just take your time. Just remember to put the inner bearing back in the hub before you install the oil seals... :D
