Get the Vin and run it on the Lexus owners site, that's the best start I can suggest.
Saved me from a couple bad purchases, if the car was serviced through Lexus and there
Are rust concerns usually Lexus notes it. I found two cars with super low miles, clean car fax etc and then luckily
Someone alerted me to the Lexus service records where they noted serious rust issues.

You're brave or naive posting that ad at $4900 :hmm:

No worries, I already have mine; but if I were you I would show up ASAP with $4500 cash and steal it.

If you don't and it ends up gone :steer:, I'll be sure to say I told you so :flipoff2:

Its funny how they never include pictures of the front seats. When I was searching, I had to call and have pictures of the front seats sent to me almost every time.

I always assume that if there is a part of the car that do not have a picture, then most likely there is something wrong with that part. In this case, no front seat pictures, most likely it is worn out (which is confirmed by OP).

@marshcat - fyi, rear wiper looked rusted? Should definitely ask for pictures under the car.

No pictures under the car yet, but spoke on the phone as the salesman walked around the car. Said some normal surface rust underneath, but still factory paint on most of the frame.

Salesman also took the car for another test drive, reported that the air conditioning does not work.

Years ago I went to look at a car that had, and I quote "a little rust". They were right, there was a little rust surrounding the rusted out fenders....

Everyone says to run from the rust belt trucks. A truck at that price at a used car lot is hiding something.
