I've replaced these in, probably, a dozen other Pigs over the years. Usually kept 3 or 4 on hand. Somebody would come by with a busted one, we'd swap it out and I'd charge them the 25 bucks they cost me.
I thought those days would last forever.
I put a new gear in mine only 30 years ago.
Now it's busted, and a Pig without a working rear window is a sorry thing.
Looking for a miracle, top dollar paid.

I see SOR has an aftermarket gear. I might have to call them...

SOR has one for $110. I just double checked Shapeways to see if anyone was 3D printing these yet, but I don't know if they are. Would still be more than $25 for metal I think, but maybe cheaper than $110.

I swear there was a discussion about 3D printing the gear recently as an aside to the 3D print handle thread....

Midgainc had some really nice brass ones cut back in 2013? I think they worked great - might want to see if he has access to any more
