Hi friends,
‘00 LC- Taillights stayed on all night, and battery dead.
On my floorboard, chunk of plastic (pic 2) had broken off and it appears to have come from the brass threaded (nut?) or thereabouts (pic 1) behind the brake pedal shaft.
In looking at ‘tail light controller/ brake light stop lamp pedal switch’ a number of parts come up, including where there is a button that depresses (84340-47020), but nothing seems to include that broken plastic part, which Im 99% sure is the problem.
Hoping someone could help me to the promise land with a part # or maybe an explanation.
I searched a bit but frazzled by this as I cant find anything that looks like my broken piece of plastic.
