I got my Tacoma from a guy that tried to SAS it but did a piss poor job and just F@#KED it up.
I have a complete FJ80 front axle that I'd like to put under it. I have everything including the radius arms, coil springs, panhard, etc.
I want this truck to be a comfortable Daily Driver first then a mild wheeler. I'm looking at running 33" max. I already have a beater on 4D's I don't need another one.
I know some of you might be saying why did you get this truck if you want a nice DD. You should have gotten a stock Tacoma. Well at the time I had a Tundra for a DD but sold it so I could be out of debt plus I got the truck for practically nothing.
My plan is to use everything on the FJ80 axle and just adapt it to the Tacoma frame. I figured that would be the cheapest, fastest way to get the truck back on the road.
From my quick measurements I can weld link brackets on the inside of the frame, a panhard bracket and some coil spring mounts.
Does anyone see any problems in doing this?
My plan is to use brackets from Ballistic Fab.
