Check it out. I hope we can get some bodies out there flying our colors. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend as this is the day we are celebrating all 3 of our childrens B-days.

will have to try to get out there

Funny, it's always the off-road clubs that clean up all the garbage left by the target shooters and ATV'ers, yet the off-roaders always get all the blame for 'ruining the enviroment'. Of course, again, you never see the Sierra Club out there either, and they are the ones most vocal about them 'damn off-roaders' - shut the area down!

Unfortunately, will be on a beach in Cabo that week....

IN, the ttora and vjc guys will be there as well......hopefully it'll be a good turn out. BMAN, check with whos' coordinating those groups and hopefully we can spread it out and cover more ground.

Looks like my plans for this weekend fell through. Seems I may have some free time this weekend.
Maybe I'll let my 80 feel some dirt other than the parking lot at work for a change. :)

If anyone is going, and you won't be at the Sonic meet tonight, and you want to caravan (y'know, cos TMR is soooo far away  ), feel free to ring me @ for ate oh, too seven ate, too three oh oh.
Leave VM, cos I won't answer.

Ok. Am I the only one who went?
We filled 4 (from what I was told) 40 yard dumpsters, a city hauler and numerous ute trailers. 3 burnt cars were hauled out, too.
I have pics but they're too big for mud. I'll get them up soon.
There was an FJ-Cruiser, 2 Tacos and a Tundra from Tim's Toyota or something. I got a warmer reception from the Jeep guys.
That place is still f****n filthy. I spent the whole 4 hours in an area about 100 yd x 200 yd. There were 6 of us, and a few guys who came in to pull big stuff and then moved on. We filled up multiple Jeeps and a Dodge 2500 twice. And barely made a dent. I picked up more than 10,000 shell casings from 22 rim to 7.62 to .410 and 12 ga. And more Bud Light, Miller Lite and Coors Light cans, bottles and boxes than most grocery stores have in stock on game day.
AND IT'S STILL FILTHY!
They clean up that one area every year. They never get it clean.
I'm this -><- close to saying ban OHV and outdoor shooting in AZ. We are horribly outnumbered.
I am so discouraged.

I want to enjoy the outdoors without :flipoff2:ing it up.
I fail to understand how anyone who enjoys getting out can't embrace that concept.:mad: All we can do is all we can do Jonathan. Kudos to anyone who tries to make a difference. :bounce::bounce2: Shame on anyone who cannot have fun without destroying something, that includes those responsible for managing public lands in Arizona. They are failing miserably.

Sounds like it may even be worse the Reddington road down here. Thats the road that passes between the Santa Catalinas and the Rincons and has offshoot trails like Chiva. There a about a dozen spots out there just littered to hell by wildcat shooters. No one feels the need to pick up their s*** out there and it's just ridiculous.
I love to wheel out there, but honestly I think the whole area should be shut down.

The problem with closing it down is that the miserable cretins will just go somewhere else and destroy another nice spot.:mad:It just spoils it for everyone. Offroad areas are "managed" like a third world country, anything goes until it all goes horribly wrong, then close it off to everyone. There has to be middle ground.
