I've seen them on the 200's and it looks awesome, does anyone make one for the 100?

What about just a blank mesh grill and getting some customer metal letters?
 
I did mine with grill mesh available on Ebay etc... and then I used a FJ grill emblem.
 
Currently the DIY is your only option. I've seen several great examples online regarding customizing a plastic grill - some where they cut/splice plastic and use filler to get a new look (basically to remove the emblem backing and get a sleek plastic grill) and some where they're adapting metal mesh for something like a "satoshi grill" on a Toyota. I was going to do this on my 100 last year with a spare grill I saw on CL, but they wanted too much money for something I'm going to chop up and possibly not finish like all my other 90% projects :) good luck!

About T O Y O T A grill for 200...

You mention you've seen them...but I've hunted and cannot find them. Any hints where you've seen those for the 200?
 
The first picture in the for sale listing linked makes the grille look like it has a wire mesh cover over the factory piece. The mesh sits flush with the surface. It might be possible to contact a user on Tacomaworld called HomerTaco. He's located in Pennsylvania and has been making hundreds of copies of the Satoshi grille from the old SEMA Tacoma for quite a few years now. He can likely custom fabricate one for you. He even does custom color matches for the
Tacomas.

I was about to say something along these lines. Check out Toyota-4Runner.org, plenty of 3rd gen guys at least over there doing their own DIYs of Satoshi style grills. Plenty of ideas over there.

Lurking on the 200 forum, a couple of guys have them. Just check out the 200 picture thread.

Do you know of a mesh grill that's a direct bolt on? I would like to remove my grill but be able to put it back on if i sell the truck.
 
^buy a 2nd grill to modify and swap them. If it looks good I doubt you'd ever put it back on...sorta like taking off the running boards :)

Yeah that was my 2nd option, just curious if there was one out there already.
 
As for retro grills, I'd say this one looks decent. Looks like an 03-05 grill with the bars filled in and FJ60 emblem.

what rims are those on that orange 100? they almost look like old chevy rallies, very nice
