I've just bought an SM465 Tranny for my '72 V8 conversion, and I wanted some advice on my t-case course of action.
My options are: Adapt my stock T-case, upgrade the parking brake with a MAF kit, and twin-stick it with an AA kit.
OR:
Buy an NP205, and twin stick it.
I've heard that the gearing on either case isn't really great, but I'm not a rock-crawler, I'm more interested in setting up my rig for road and trail use to reach trailheads for hiking, backpacking, hunting, etc. So, which would you folks recommend?
